Welcome to League of Titans

Round 22: TITANS vs NZ WARRIORS (2026)

Predicting a few “cussies” from across the “dutch” to attend.

The game is very heavily sold already, especially the Cuzzy bro bays, and I think it will sellout. Titans members with flexi memberships (4 games etc) were asked to choose their tickets by Friday and after that all remaining tickets were put on sale.

Warriors played pretty poorly against the Bulldogs, we have a chance to win this. Three wins in a row seems less likely than my life changing with a 2$ scratchie ticket though.

Keen to see the NRLQ boys go again - if they beat the Phins this week and the cows on Thursday we make the GF for it.

But jeez the girls are unlucky not to be playing at home for this one against the girl wahs. Am all for a women's magic round, but of all of the women's games to schedule to be in Wagga Wagga, it just had to be the one where the crowd would be PUMPIN!

We're in for a tough game this week. They will test our edges especially. BF and Arama will be targeted. I just hope Lofi has a quiet game. Surely every kick goes to him.

Rewatching the dragons game and a bit of our right edge being exposed was down to Arama getting it wrong. Big fan of his and trust he will be a big part of our future but with Lofi on that left edge I expect they’ll fancy their chances getting around us there. Expect that edge to get stress tested a lot

I noticed late in the game Verrills came on for Pascoe and Patson went to the Hau edge.
I guess that is the defend the lead move that Josh makes.

Hey Appsy, I saw your post on LU about the crowd expectations this weekend. You mentioned that Flexi members had until last Friday to redeem, which is the membership we now have and I did that.
However you showed some bays and said these seats are locked behind membership codes and may be released later. What do you mean? I thought if you weren't a Flexi game member then you would be a ticketed member with an allocated seat. I guess I don't understand by what you mean about "locked behind membership codes". It's probably a dumb question but please explain. Also interesting that many of the seats along the eastern side are priced at $107.01 - I know dynamic pricing in used but one cent!!
As you mentioned the game is well headed for a sell out and even though it will be 80% Wahs it still will be a great atmosphere and better if we get a win.

Basically Members can still give their access codes to friends and family, who can then unlock and purchase those seats at the member rate. The club often keeps a decent section of the stadium reserved for these discounted tickets, so ticket sales can look pretty low from the outside. That's why people are often surprised on game day when the crowd ends up being much bigger than expected.

I am sure those seats will be released once the sideline bays in the more expensive bays (on the 50) are sold out.

And yes, the club loves the idea of dynamic pricing, as does Stadiums Queensland, which is why you'll see almost all stadiums will move to Ticket Master in the next few years. Do miss the days of counting each seat individually on Ticketek though XD

Some Stats for this weekend;
- Tino's 100th Titans Game (Hopefully we do a banner or something for it?)
- If Sami scores a double, he'll tie Don's 85 tries for leading Titans try scorer. a hat trick gives him the all time record (and would have cracked 100 in a Titans jersey if we kept him).
- Aiming for highest regular season crowd vs the wahs. Judging by the ticketing forecast we should crack 25k and we're looking to beat the two below:
25,310 in 2008
25,109 in 2016 (Jarryd Hayne return game)
We did get 27k vs them in 2010, but that was week 1 finals (oh what could have been and hasn't been since)

The only thing that will keep the crowd down a little is that there are many GA bays which they sell at about 10% less than capacity as people tend to leave single seats. We should do what the Storm does for bigger drawing games and have all seats individually ticketed. Also member no shows doesn't help although I notice there are some member resale tickets on Ticketmaster. I don't know how hard the resale process is pushed to members that cannot attend. It's a shame when the game will be a sellout but 25,000 attend which means about 10% of seats are not occupied. I suppose it's a good problem to have.

Demetric Vaimauga is out for this one, pretty big loss for the Wahs imo, he was one of the guys I was most worried about, especially him possibly feasting on our smaller second unit.

If there are no further changes for the Wahs I’m kind of confident heading into this one.

Their middles want to get into a grindfest and win the arm wrestle, but they struggle heavily against teams that pull their middles apart and keep the ball alive. Have Tino, Morrin, Cooper, Klese etc attacking wider of the ruck, don’t bother with trying to outmuscle them. Get plenty of second phase play going aswell and there will be huge opportunities for Keano, JC, AJ, Pascoe and Morrin to snipe them up the middle and edges.

We need to be putting Lofi under serious pressure, all fifth tackle options should be going to him, force him to be the one to take them out of yardage. On defense, the Wahs have Lofi jamming everything, so Dean will have multiple chances wide open, hopefully Zane/Keano recognise this and play wide, or even drop a kick in behind. Pompey has been poor laterally aswell, get Jojo on the move with Lofi backpedalling and we should be able to chew up some yardage there.

DWZ and Leiataua are pretty favourable on that edge too, early ball to JC and AJ should be fruitful.

Also, The Wahs haven’t been contesting kicks for some time, could be an effort areas thing, but Keano, Ieremia and Sami shouldn’t face too much pressure in the air. TMM and CHT suck with the boot too, they have a rough time getting out of trouble when under the pump.

This one is totally winnable, and would be a real look at where this team is at under Hannay, if both teams play how they did last week then there’s no reason we can’t get home here.

Titans by 14.

Not sure I really understand or 6 man bench if we have any issues in our OB’s we have zero coverage without big changes that will have larger impact
