Kini is not the right fit for our team. Pretty much all our players would excel in a good system, look at Tanah Boyd as the prime example who was leading the Dally M table, Erin Clarke who is now one of the best locks in the game. Heck, even Brian Kelly is a better player outside our system. It's about what our current system needs based on our current conditions, and unless we change those conditions the system will not fit him. We can't keep fitting triangles into square holes, we have about 10 of those scattered across the whole team. The titans need experience, veterans, players who knows their role and are consistent. Putting a rookie spine behind anything besides that is a recipe for disaster. We have been making this same mistake for over a decade now.
The way our roster is assembled is a joke, not only by the combination of talent and playing attributes but also by the combination of experience and attitudes.

Very much agree with this and there is the core of our problem: Hannay is having to do that using players which are mostly the direct opposite.
